All It Takes Is One Dipshit

RELEVANT ARTICLE: http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2 009-05-30/funimation-cancels-one-piece -simulcast

Toei and Funimation had worked on an arrangement where Funimation would web broadcast a sub of the newest episode of One Piece at the very same time it was first aired in Japan, but what would have been a breakthrough event is now cancelled thanks to one dipshit I hope has a very fatal accident in the near future as his just rewards. Knowing that episode would be coming up, he managed to hack Funimation's serves and extract the episode by force. Because the episode became available online - thanks to Captain Dipshit - before it even aired in Japan, the deal is now over (and it will probably be extremely unlikely to see something like this ever attempted again for a very long time).

TO CAPTAIN DIPSHIT: Do the entire world a favor by putting the barrel of a loaded gun in your mouth and pulling the trigger over and over until you are no longer able to do so.

So this guy hindered you from watching an anime?
He did you a favor.

Technically speaking - I wouldn't have been watching it even if it had went through - but that said, I still get upset whenever I see one immature individual take it upon himself to destroy something for everyone else that had done no wrong in the matter.

this one guy made it so some people couldn't watch one piece
this is serious enough for me to want him dead
that is not overreacting
and the other guy is immature

yeah it's not like you can easily torrent the entire series or anything while funimation and 4kids ruin anime by censoring the fuck out of it and line their pockets with cash.

So it's perfectly okay that people watching something legitimately get it taken away, just so long as the pirates - who got it taken away from the legitimate people - can keep seeing it because they're pirates?

Anime is overrated anyway.

I'm more upset about the concept of what happened here, rather than the actual show (I wasn't even going to watch it evenif it HAD been shown).

One Piece is bigger weeaboo fodder than Bleach, Naruto, Gundam, ugh... um... Blood+, Death Note... W-well you see where I'm going with this.

It was the concept of what happened, more than the show, that had me outraged.

awww, what an idiot One Piece was an awsome show

well there are probably more people than you that want him to drop dead, that's for sure.
but well that's life, full of idiots who ruin for everyone else.. xD

why is everyone flaming the fuck out of this. This is horse shit. It's not the end of the world but it is quite annoying. Sure we have a ton of different subbers and what not, but none of them are ever consistent and while watching episodes subbers can change constantly. to have one consistent subber would have been great. To say anime is overatted is to say superman is overatted, terminator is overated, NEWGROUNDS is overatted. point being it makes it seem all because something is popular it's overatted. I'm not an anime fan so to speak but I do love one piece. This is very heart breaking news.

Holy shit, some people saw an episode a few days early OMFG THE END OF THE WORLD NOOOOOO DELETE FUCKING EVERYTHING!!!!!

Isn't that a bit of an overreaction? Took it off of Hulu and Joost.

come look and comment my news damnit!

Somebody needs to learn about patience!

So there will still be more episodes out later right?

Like on other anime sites?

Or will they stop uploading one piece episodes with subs all together?

Episodes will still be out, but not the same day as in Japan. A historic opportunity for the anime community has just cumbled into dust thanks to the pirates.

Clovis. Don't go all crazy. No matter what there is always one dipshit in every town that ruins anything good for the others. And by the sounds of this person. He is the worst. Hacking Funimation's serves just to extract the episode....wha did he gain in the process? Nothing but the hate from the whole world. It's stupid to fight and argue about this now since it already happen.

Don't worry, I'm over my initial rage.

it's one piece, calm down, you'll get to see hyperactive stretcher boy again soon.

you wanna kill someone cause of that? Sorry but I laughed my ass off when I read that. to Captain dipshit: you're my hero

I'm well over my initial rage, and wouldn't kill him at this point. Still, I'm very disgusted with him. A pirate who steals something - just to destroy a legitimate release - so that people have to rely on pirates, most certainly is NOT my hero.

well I don't watch anime but I would be pissed if a show I watched was canceled because of some asshole.

Wtf? That sucks! Regardless of what it is, that is a historic event that someone ruined. Don't think he should kill himself though, they should find him, stick him in a big white room, and send someone in every day to beat the living hell out of him. Yeah, that works better :P

I like the quote at the end. I don't watch anime or anything but I understand how you feel having had many similar experiences myself.

It's not like other companies aren't doing simultaneous broadcasts. Calm down.

Jesus. There wasn't even this big a fucking deal when the Meet The Spy video was "leaked", or the ending to the last Harry Potter book.

Seriously, just chill the fuck out. It's not even like they said "NOW WE'RE NOT GONNA LET YOU HAVE THE EPISODE, HAHAHA!". They did the reasonable thing, seeing that something didn't work and they stopped.

Trial and error. Learning the hard way. Too bad for stupid weaboos who rely on anime to make it through their daily lives. Besides, you live in Ohio, so I'm doubting that you know enough Japanese to watch it un-fansubbed anyways.

Funimation had already subbed it, so it actually would have been a subbed airing. You wouldn't need fansubs if it was available subbed legally with zero delays, that's the opportunity that was smashed here. I wasn't actually going to watch this myself, even if it had shown, what angers me here is the concept of all this. People were finally going to get anime the very same time the Japanese did, and without doing anything illegal to get that, and one of the pirates had to go and ruin it (in the process making people reliant on the pirates for the show, how convenient).

MOM I CANT WATCH MY ANIMES WHAAAAA
